Happy 4th of July everyone! Just like the title says, we will be fighting aliens from the great abyss of space. Or, we will be destroying beverages and food, on the great waters of Maine....while listening to some old school DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. If you can find us out there, we will need your help destroying those pesky drinks and mini bites of snacks. There won't be any business happening at the store on Tuesday July 4th, because we will be saving the world... all day.
CLOSED JULY 4TH, TUESDAY
Didn't this just sneak up quickly? It seems like yesterday that we were out there on the front lawn, eating Salvage BBQ, listening to music, and most importantly getting a bunch of free swag. But...it was actually a year ago that those things were happening. This year, let's not hit the repeat button, but get a new mixtape made. Same style, but a little funkier. So you ask, where, when, how, and why? Where? High Wire Hydroponics. When? June 24th, 2017; 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. How? Because you have made this store awesome. Why? We want to thank you, by having a Hootenanny.
Salvage will be here with the best BBQ around. D.J. Mashtodon will be spinning killer beats all day. There are too many vendors to list, and the giveaways will be totally awesome. So please come down to the store on June 24, 2017 Saturday for a Super Happy Hootenanny.
Well, yes....we are super heroes, but we also need some time off from saving the world.

I was trying to go to the beat of a Muddy Waters song in the title there while I typed. Nailed it. Moving on...it's 2016, father's day is coming up, so that means the Blues Fest is too! If you haven't been to one yet, you are definitely missing out. Even if you don't like Blues music. But really, who doesn't like Blues music. It's a three day long, weekend event, always on Fathers' Day Weekend. It's a wicked good time in Naples, ME with bands, beverages, food, and most importantly some booty shakin'. We will be down there on June 18th, Saturday, so therefore we will be closing early at 2 p.m. that day.
No matter what you are growing, it should be green. Well, at least the leaves should be. One day a year, your beverage should be green as well. It's St. Patty's Day! Paint your face, wear your favorite Celtic shirts, and keep some beads around your neck on this day of celebration. Here at High Wire we like to celebrate as well, so the store will be closing early on Thursday, March 17th, at 2:00 pm.
Now that the days are getting shorter, and the nights are getting cooler it can only mean one of two things. You accidently got stuck in the beer cooler at Hannaford or Fall is right around the corner. Either way really, Fall beers are here, Halloween decorations are everywhere, and the tourists are moving back to their warmer climates. Most importantly, the Sebago Brew Fest is a few days away. It's their 12th annual Fest, which will be held at Point Sebago on September 26th, between 11 am - 4 pm. There will be over 30 breweries and fifteen food vendors to fill those bellies! Hope to see you all there!
Good Day to everyone! Here are some days that we will be closed. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Don't be too upset, it's not like we're going up north to have a whole bunch of fun rafting......oh wait, that is what we are doing. Heck yeah for us!
Closed: August 31st, September 1st and 2nd. Re-open normal hours on Thursday September 3rd.
Closed: September 7th, Monday Labor Day.
This Blues Festival always falls on father's day weekend. The Maine Blues Festival is located in Naples, Maine on the infamous causeway. It is fun for all ages, so bring your grandmother and your little ones. All of the restaurants and bars in the area participate in the shenanigans, with great food and music playing all day and night. If you are feeling like a boat ride you can hop onto the Songo River Queen for a Blues Cruise. Tickets are available for purchase now, or day of the event. Either way, come out and support your local vendors, restaurants, and musicians.
Here it is folks, the day that you have been waiting for! High Wire Hydroponics is very excited to bring another day of events, music, food, and giveaways. The best thing about this tea party is that it will be free! The first of many classes, "Brewing Teas Better than the Mad Hatter", will be held on March 7th, 2015 at High Wire hydroponics, between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Let us know if you plan on attending, just so we can get some sort of idea on how many seats to have. Hope to see you there!
The first of four, New England Cannabis Conventions, will be held in Boston this year in the Historic Castle at Park Plaza. It will be a little different from the Max Yield show that was in Boston last October, this one is geared more for the Medical Marijuana world. The convention is February 21-22, 2015 which is a Saturday and Sunday. We will be closing down High Wire Hydroponics on Sunday February 22, 2015 to attend this event. Come track us down at the show, you don't want to miss this! Keep your eyes open for the Cannabis Convention coming to Portland in June. You will definitely see some familiar faces there.

Not only will you expect to have an exciting time, but you can also expect, food, prizes, rides, games and even BEANO! Oh, MY, how can it get even better you ask? How about if there is a parade and fireworks as well. Yep, just got better. Bring the whole family down for these days of amazing fun.
Come one, wait, COME ALL! On July 12th, we will be opening our doors like any other normal day, however this day will come with activities, giveaways, food, and beverages. The High Wire Hydroponics Crew is looking forward to this day, so you should probably mark it on your calendar, call out of work, and show up for this fun extravaganza. It's true, stop pinching yourself, the winter is over. What better way to get out of a winter funk, than a great time at Old Port Fest! This will be Portland's 41st annual event of great music, even better food, and too many local vendors to start counting. It will also be featuring a 90' gondola wheel, art walks, a parade, waterfront tours, and I even hear there is a scavenger hunt. WOW! Sounds pretty awesome to us, we all love enjoying a day and night in the Portland's Old Port. See you there!
